Family rooms

Inspiration for today – the family room, the living room, the sitting room, the front room….. the all important Lounge.

We have several jobs on the go at the moment that require looking at the way we live as a family and now we interact on that all important ‘common’ ground. While I’m sure you all have a pinboard full of contemporary images – a few old pictures from Flickr show how although Western fashions and styles change over time, that space that we share never loses its importance in our day to day lives – the way we share things that are important to us as a family, the way we present ourselves to others, the way we interact. While the details and decorations change, and the rooms start opening up – the essence remains the same…..

Now while I’m happy with many many different styles, if the last two images remind you of your own current living room – it may just be a good idea to get in touch for just a tiny bit of a refresh …. 🙂

Have a great long weekend everyone!
